Ken Shigley is a truck, bus and automotive safety trial attorney based in Atlanta,.  He has tried over 120 cases to verdict and is a frequent speaker at national continuing legal education programs on trucking trial practice across the United States. Mr. Shigley is now one of the top officers of the 40,000 member State Bar of Georgia.

In addition to truck, bus and other motor vehicle cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death, Mr. Shigley has substantial experience handling cases involving unsafe  products, dangerous premises and professional negligence.

Mr. Shigley began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in a rural judicial circuit, worked a few years in small town general practice, spent a decade in an Atlanta firm with a statewide insurance defense and governmental liability defense practice, and for eighteen years was a sole practitioner. In 2008,  in order to  expand capacity for handling more and larger cases, he joined the  Atlanta law firm of Chambers, Aholt & Rickard, LLP
